Whelan Building Ltd have been building and renovating quality Auckland homes and light commercial premises for over 20 years. Whelan Building has significant experience in villa and bungalow renovation and reconstruction, construction and management of new homes, as well as light commercial and retail construction.  We are also one of a select few with experience in building luxury bespoke homes to suit the climate and lifestyle of Waiheke Island.

Whelan Building Limited is owned and managed by Geoff Whelan, a professional builder since 1988.  Geoff is a Registered Master Builder, NZ Trade Qualified, Site 2 Licenced Building Practitioner (Site 2) and member of Site Safe.

Geoff is a true professional who strives to add value to every job, be it understanding his customers unique needs, assisting architects, ensuring projects run to time and budget, or managing the Council and multiple sub-contractors. Geoff's strengths include "attention to detail and quality of the finish".

Geoff says "At Whelan Building, we work closely with you and your architect to ensure you get exactly what you want from your new home or renovation project. Or if you prefer, we will work with you from concept stage and engage architects and other consultants to help you work through your requirements, the consent process, etc.  The choice is yours."
